Another high quality product from Hilltop Systems. This is a combination feedline interface and termination unit for a single wire receive only Beverage antenna. The engineering and workmanship in these units must be seen to be fully appreciated.
Unique to this Beverage antenna system is a heavy duty, non-inductive variable termination resistor that allows virtually perfect matching to the resistance differential of the earth/ground system at any location. This allows the user to maximize F/B ratio for optimum receive performance. No other system on the market provides the ability to match a Beverage antenna system to localized earth/ground conditions. Once the ideal termination resistance is determined, the user has the option of installing a permanent high power resistor using the terminal strip included in the termination unit.
Note: This Beverage antenna system is for receive only and should be used with a transceiver having a separate receive antenna input or a unit to manage the switching of separate antennas for transmit and receive. Please read through the "Installation Guide" shown below for additional information.
Industrial grade 2 watt terminating resistor continuously variable between 0 and 1K ohms with "Cermet" type element.

Hand wound 9:1 transformer using a binocular core for maximum inductance with minimum turns.
- primary winding is wound in a Teflon tube to reduce the capacitive coupling between the windings
