Privacy Policy

Balun Designs LLC will never rent, sell, or share our customer information with any third party. Other than our newsletter, we do not maintain a mailing list nor do we send unsolicited e-mail. We only contact our customers as necessary to process and complete their orders or respond to a customer inquiry. On occasion it is necessary for us to release information about a customer to a freight forwarder, common carrier, or customs broker in order to complete an order.

We will only release customer information to law enforcement or government officials when it is deemed necessary for the safety of persons or packages or when we are forced to comply with an order of the court. Balun Designs Limited Warranty and Policies

We provide a one year warranty on all our units. If it fails to function as designed, we will repair or replace it free of charge as long as you, the original purchaser, own it and it was not damaged by a modification of any type made by purchaser, lightning, other act of God or other casualty. We reserve the right to make that determination. You are required to pay for shipping charges both to and from Balun Designs shipping address.

It is important to retain all shipping boxes for possible claims made to the shipper for damaged product! Not doing so will affect how your warranty replacement is handled since we cannot replace a product that had its damage claim rejected due to the customer failing to retain the original shipping box.

In no case will we be liable for any incidental or consequential damages, which includes, but is not limited to, damage to equipment connected or attached to any product we sell. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. Your sole and exclusive remedy, upon our failure to meet our warranty obligations to repair or replace as described above, is refund of the purchase price.

ANY CONTROVERSY OR CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO PRODUCTS WE SELL SHALL BE SETTLED BY ARBITRATION IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE ARBITRATION RULES OF THE AMERICAN ARBITRATION ASSOCIATION.

PRICES: Prices and specifications are subject to change! We are not responsible for typographical errors. SALES TAX: Balun Designs is required by law to automatically charge and withhold the applicable sales tax (8.25%) for orders to be delivered to addresses within the state of Texas. Each customer shall be solely responsible for all sales taxes, or other taxes, on orders shipped outside Texas.

Procedure for Obtaining Warranty Service

No one else besides us is authorized to perform our warranty obligations. If you are sure the problem is with our product, you must contact us first and then follow the procedure explained below under "REPAIRS."

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.

Provisions Applicable to All Products

OTHER THAN AS STATED ABOVE, BALUN DESIGNS DISCLAIMS ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSES WHATSOEVER AND ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES.

REPAIRS

When sending a product for service, please be sure to contact us first at 817-832-7197 for an RA number. Carefully box and ship it insured, for your protection, along with a note clearly describing the problem, how you wish the item returned to you and how you wish to pay for the service if it is not covered by our warranty. Package your item properly, Balun Designs is not responsible for merchandise lost or damaged in shipment.

NON-REPAIR RETURNS

Exchange or upgrade items must be received by us in original, as-shipped, condition. All exchanges/upgrades must be received within 30 days of purchase date. Upgrades on products older than 30 days can be approved at the discretion of management. One upgrade/exchange per each new balun purchased is allowed. Custom orders and specialized units are not eligible for exchange or upgrade. Shipping charges and any applicable Paypal fees are not refundable. Purchaser must contact Balun Designs at 817-832-7197 before shipping item(s) to listed address. Package your item properly, Balun Designs is not responsible for merchandise lost or damaged in shipment.

Return for Refund will be accepted only if approved by Balun Designs before the unit(s) is returned. All returns must have a Return Authorization number and are subject to a 15% restocking fee.  Any request for return must be made within 60 days of confirmed delivery and must be in original as received condition.  Shipping charges and any applicable Paypal fees are not refundable. Due to their highly customized design models 1435, 1235, 1213, 1232 and 16132 cannot be considered for return/refund.  Purchaser must contact Balun Designs at 817-832-7197 before shipping item(s) to listed address. Units Damaged in shipment must be returned to Balun Designs for analysis of damage so an insurance claim can be filed with the shipper.  In lieu of this, buyer may provide pictures of the damage and an explanation as to the damage extent.  However, the unit must ultimately be returned to Balun Designs before a refund or replacement of any type can be issues.  Notification of damage should be submitted to Balun Designs within 10 day of receipt and balun returned to Balun Designs within 30 days of receipt.

Cancellations/Refunds: Beginning 1/1/22 Payment processors are no longer refunding fees when an order is canceled and a refund requested.  Consequently Balun Designs must charge a cancellation fee equal to 5% of the total purchase price for any unit that is canceled after payment has been received by Balun Designs. 

 FOREIGN ORDERS: Foreign orders must be payable in U.S. dollars. You may use Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express or Paypal. The customer is responsible for shipping to obtain warranty service. We will ship all units via Priority Mail International with tracking and insurance unless otherwise instructed.

LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: Except as expressly stated herein, Balun Designs makes no representations or warranties, either express or implied, of any kind with respect to products sold by Balun Designs, including but not limited to, merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. You agree that the sole and exclusive maximum liability that Balun Designs has arising from any product sold by Balun Designs shall be the price of the product ordered. In no event shall Balun Designs, it owners, its officers, employees or other representatives be held liable for special, indirect, consequential, or punitive damages related to products sold.
