Based on the success of our model 4932, this 5kW configuration is also perfect for matching both long and short length wire antennas for multiband use. When used with the stated lengths shown in the table below, the 9:1 ratio will allow the internal tuner of most rigs to easily match remotely mounted single wire antennas.
For additional versatility, the 4:1 ratio will handle any random, non resonant length of wire which can then be matched using an ATU or many internal tuners. Plus this ratio is commonly used to increase performance of 19, 31 and 43 foot multiband verticals. Unfortunately, both ratios cannot be used simultaneously.
I have used many of your products in the past..I ordered this unun 4935 when I put up a inverted L. I have used the 9:1 unun in the past and had good luck with it but this time I thought I would give the combo a try.This unun is great...I can use the 4:1 on 160,80,40 and 30.. and the 9:1 on 20,17,15.. it works great..Living in a HOA with number 18ga wire I have a 158ft inverted L 30ft up in a tree and the rest of the wire across the house to a tree..both ends are 30-35ft up..I only have 6 wires spread out across the yard. I put a coil at the base of the antenna with taps on the coil for the best swr for any band..I get a great match that way and no loss thru a tuner!! So far no problems with the HOA cop's. I work mostly DX with this antenna and it works better than any I have tried..OCF to End feed antennas from My Antennas.

Ununs are intended for use with unbalanced antennas such as verticals and long wires.
They will not work with balanced designs such as dipoles or loops and use with a balanced antenna may cause damage to the unit.
